Help You Build By Owner was founded and is operated by David Wishtischin. David and his wife, Brittany, are also the owners of Ravenwood Homes in southwest Florida. Ravenwood Homes is family owned, and builds both custom and semi-custom luxury homes that are not only beautiful, but Ultra Energy Efficient. David has 21 years of experience in construction and combines that with a passion for real estate development and his undergraduate science degree from the University of Connecticut to provide his new home-owners with the best insight, direction, material, and value.
We Help You Build By Owner was created to fulfill a need in today’s current construction economy. Many homeowners choose to tackle DIY projects of all sizes in their homes. Sometimes for budgetary reasons, sometimes for passion. David realized that many DIYers were able to learn skills of the trade, but didn’t have the industry-insight and experience to complete their projects with the speed, budget, and results that his team has.
